Join us for our School’s signature gala event, Passport! TOGETHER, we will enjoy an evening on campus complete with a cocktail hour, seated dinner, and live and silent auctions. Not only is it a great time with great friends, it is a great way to raise funds for our School!

Our theme, TOGETHER, embodies our desire to form meaningful connections and relationships between SMH parents, students, faculty, and staff. Community is what makes our school a special place to learn and grow. Each and every day, our students come TOGETHER in so many ways: to play, create, eat, celebrate, dance, sing, and learn. Investing in our school provides unique opportunities to propel our children, students and amazing faculty into deeper connection and learning.

What is Passport and why should I go?  

Every other year, the Saint Mary’s Hall community gathers to celebrate our school’s rich traditions, exceptional faculty and staff, as well as the “you can only get it here” experiences a SMH education affords our students. Passport 2024 will be held on Friday, May 10th.

Passport is a fun, lively evening out for parents, grandparents, faculty, alumni and friends of SMH. It is a great night out on campus with an outdoor cocktail hour (weather permitting), a seated dinner, and both live and silent auctions. All funds raised through Passport support the mission of SMH and the wonderful people that continue the legacy of all-around excellence in the classroom, on the athletics fields, in the fine arts, and beyond!

This sounds fun! How do I attend?

Okay, I’m in! But who do I sit with?

Everyone has a seat at the table here! Each table seats eight people and you can sit friends, family, or other SMH community members. If you know who you would like to sit with, each member of the group should enter the same group name when you purchase your tickets. If you are not sure who you will sit with or would like to make some new friends, we can play matchmaker too! We are happy to arrange for you to sit with other guests with students of a similar age or compatible personal interests.

Wait…what do I wear?

I cannot make the big night, but want to participate. What is the best way to do that? 

There are multiple ways to participate and show your Baron Pride even if you cannot attend Passport! Our legendary silent auction will be open for online bidding beginning late April. Grab a parking spot, front row commencement tickets, or a once in a lifetime teacher experience - all from the comfort of your own computer (or phone!). Shopping not your thing? There are additional ways to participate including “sponsoring a teacher” to attend Passport or making a tax-deductible contribution to Fund-A-Mind.

What exactly is Fund-A-Mind?

Fund-A-Mind is an endowed fund specifically directed to support faculty salaries and financial aid. During Passport, we invite families to raise a paddle to support the fundamental aspects of what makes Saint Mary’s Hall special. Our people define our school, and we are grateful for the legacy of philanthropy at SMH that continues to build our school. You can support Fund-A-Mind online at www.smhall.org /passport or during the paddle raise at the event. Online donors may choose to remain anonymous if they prefer. Fund-A-Mind donations are 100% tax deductible.
