What to Know Before Your First Day of Camp
Summer at Saint Mary's Hall 2024
Welcome to Summer at Saint Mary's Hall! Please use the following list as a resource for specific camp needs in order to prepare for your first day of camp.
All Camps
- Pre-applied sunscreen and insect repellent (outdoor camps)
- Comfortable clothes and shoes
(special footwear requirements will be noted below each camp)
All Camps: 3 – 5 Year-Old Campers
- Bring a change of clothes to leave for the week (inside Ziploc labeled bag)
- Wear comfortable shoes and clothes
- If staying for lunch, please pack a sack lunch (no nuts please)
Archery (bring the following if you have them)
- All archery supplies will be provided by Summer at Saint Mary's Hall
- Water bottle & towel
- Pre-applied sunscreen and insect repellent
Art, Cooking, and Science Camps
- All supplies provided by Summer at Saint Mary's Hall
- As these classes can be messy, please don’t send students in their best clothes
Baseball (bring the following if you have them)
- Water bottle & towel
- Sunglasses (if child wears them)
- Baseball cap
- Baseball glove
- Baseball bat
- Baseball cleats (if you have them); if not, tennis shoes are fine
- Pre-applied sunscreen and insect repellent
Basketball
- Bring: Water bottle & towel
- Wear: Tennis shoes, shorts, t-shirt
Dance - Ballet
- Please bring appropriate dance attire:
- Leotard (any color)
- Tights (pink)
- Ballet shoes
- Hair should be neatly tied in a bun
- Summer at Saint Mary's Hall will provide:
- Craft materials for Little Ballerina camps
- Performance costumes and props
- Light snacks (pretzels or gold fish and water)
Dance - Hip Hop
If you already have them, please wear the items below, if not wear loose comfortable clothes & tennis shoes. Please do not buy shoes or other clothes if you don’t plan to dance during the school year.
- Girls wear black leotard, black tights, black jazz pants and jazz shoes
- Boys wear black jazz pants, white t-shirt and jazz shoes
- Parents are invited to a dance performance on Friday in the dance building
- Morning classes at 10:30am
- Afternoon classes at 2:00pm
Fit for First
- Wear comfortable summer clothes
- Pre-applied sunscreen and insect repellent
- Check in, drop off, and pickup at the Lower School Circle
Golf Camp (bring the following if you already have them)
- Golf clubs are not needed, but okay to bring
- Water bottle & towel
- Baseball cap
- Pre-applied sunscreen and insect repellent
Lacrosse AM - camper must bring own equipment
- Water bottle & towel
- Pre-applied sunscreen and insect repellant
- Mouth guard, helmet, gloves, cleats, lacrosse stick
Horse Camp
- All campers are required to sign a waiver to participate.
Intro to Montessori
- Wear comfortable clothes
- Bring extra set of clothes in a labeled bag
- Pre-apply sunscreen and insect repellant
- Monday: check-in at Lower School Circle
- Monday - Friday
- Campers going home at 11:30 am will be picked up at the Montessori Circle off of Twisted Oaks Dr.
- If picking up after an afternoon class, pick up at the Lower School Circle
- Tuesday - Friday: drop off at the Montessori Circle by 8:50 am
Kindergarten Preview
- Pre-apply sunscreen and insect repellant
- Wear comfortable clothes
- Monday: check-in at Lower School Circle
- Pick-Up (Monday – Friday):
- Campers going home at 11:30am: pick-up at Montessori/Kindergarten Circle off Twisted Oaks Dr.
- If picking up after an afternoon class, pick up at the Lower School Circle
- Drop-Off (Tuesday – Friday)
- 8:50am at Montessori/Kindergarten Circle off Twisted Oaks Dr.
Miniature Battles
- Ruler
- 3/0 and 5/0 paint brush from Hobby Lobby or Michaels
Nerf Battles
We have everything you will need. Please leave your own Nerf toys at home.
Prep School English and Math (Form 6)
- Check in at Lower School Circle on Monday morning
- Drop-off and pickup will be at Middle School Circle all other times
Soccer (Bring if you have)
- Water bottle & towel
- Baseball cap
- Sunglasses (if comfortable and camper uses them regularly)
- Pre-applied sunscreen and insect repellent
- Tennis shoes, socks, and shinguards if you have them (Mini-Barons)
- Shin guards & soccer cleats (Soccer & Sports - ages 6-12)
Soccer ABC's (Indoor camp)
- Tennis shoes, shorts, t-shirts
- Shin guards if you have them
- Pre-applied sunscreen and insect repellent
Tennis (Bring if you have)
- Campers may bring their own tennis racquet or you can use those provided by Summer at Saint Mary's Hall
- Water bottle & towel
- Baseball cap
- Pre-applied sunscreen and insect repellent
Tennis - Quick Start Indoors
- No tennis racquet needed
- Water bottle
- Pre-applied sunscreen and insect repellent
Tumblebugs (Indoor camp)
- Tennis shoes
- Comfortable clothing
- All equipment provided by Saint Mary's Hall
Volleyball (high intensity Camp & Skill Development Camp (Mon-Thurs, 6:30-9 pm)
- Check in located at the Ancira Gym (products and shirts will be handed out there)
- Wear court shoes, athletic shorts & shirt, knee pads (if you use them)
- Water bottle & towel
- Park in the Senior lot if staying for the entire camp
- Drop-off and Pick-up located on the Upper School Circle
- No Snack Bar available during this camp
Volleyball - Middle School Camp and Upper School Camp (Indoor)
- Indoor court shoes
- Comfortable athletic clothing
- Knee pads if you have them
- All equipment provided by Saint Mary's Hall
All Other Camps
- Wear casual clothing and closed-toe shoes
