• Summer registration opens on March 2, 2026, at 8 am and will remain open throughout the summer for classes that have availability. 
• Go to smhall.org/summer and click on the “register” button. 
• If new to the registration system, create an account for your family. 
• Be sure to add each student to your account before registering for camps/courses.  
• Choose classes and make your payment via ACH or credit card.  
• An email confirmation will be sent after registration and payment is complete.

LATE REGISTRATION  

We understand that summer plans can change and families may seek camp options at the last minute. To accommodate late registrations, Summer at the Hall will accept enrollment requests for camps until Tuesday at noon prior to the start of the following week’s session. Registrations completed after Tuesday at noon will incur an additional $25 late fee per registration.

CAMP CANCELLATION  

CANCELLATION BY SUMMER AT SAINT MARY’S HALL  

Camps and classes are limited in size and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.  

Summer at Saint Mary's Hall reserves the right to cancel any course/camp or program due to insufficient enrollment. If this occurs, staff will work with families to transfer to another available camp or refund tuition.  

CANCELLATION BY STUDENT  

A full refund will be given for cancellations made before May 16, 2026. After that date, you will be refunded only if the class is canceled, or a student is medically precluded from participating. A letter from a licensed physician is required.  

Cancellations made after May 16, 2026, will be charged a $50 cancellation fee for each week (per student) that classes are canceled.  

PRORATION  

Proration is not available as instructors and staff plan a full week of camp, including supply costs, for each student registered.  

We are unable to prorate for camper absences including vacation schedules, conflicting activities, or a change in plans.  

WAITING LISTS 

All camps have enrollment limits to ensure a safe and fun learning experience for each camper.  

Our online registration system automatically develops a waiting list for all camps. If space opens in a camp, parents will be notified via email to login to their account and register for the camp.  

To ensure the daily safety of each camper, we ask that you report any absence or plans to drop-off or pick up. For early pickups, we asked that you contact the office via email or phone 24 hours prior to the day of early pickup.

Summer at Saint Mary's Hall camp orientation will take place for each camper during their first week of camp. During this half-hour session on the morning of their first day, campers will receive a comprehensive overview of that week's theme and expectations. Staff will discuss important information such as daily schedules, activity guidelines, and behavioral standards. This orientation will ensure a smooth transition for campers and set the stage for a fun and fulfilling summer experience. 

HEALTH & SAFETY 

A certified medical professional and counselor are on staff every day during the summer. If your child has specific health concerns, please contact the Summer at Saint Mary's Hall team at (210) 483 -9124 for further directions.  

For the safety of our staff and campers, SMH reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to remove any camper, parent, or any other person at any time.  

GUIDANCE AND SUPPORT 

Summer camp at Saint Mary's Hall extends our school-year campus commitment to our age-appropriate behavior policy. We work with all our instructors to establish camper conduct expectations, upholding Saint Mary's Hall values of community, curiosity, legacy, respect, and spirituality, and promote positive self-regulation for all campers.  When additional assistance or intervention is required, individual camper support will be addressed by our Summer at Saint Mary's Hall leadership team.  

YOUNG CAMPERS 

Summer at the Hall Toilet Training Policy 

Saint Mary’s Hall values each child's independence, dignity, and readiness. In order to support camper well-being and maintain a healthy, safe learning environment, the following toileting expectations apply. 

Toilet Training Expectations 
Campers enrolled at Summer at the Hall are expected to be fully toilet-trained prior to the start of school. A camper is considered toilet-trained when they are able to: 

• Independently manage clothing (pull pants and underwear up and down). 

• Recognize the need to use the restroom and go independently, without reminders. 

• Use the toilet independently. 

• Not wear diapers or pull-ups during their time at camp. 

• Wash and dry hands independently. 

• Rarely have accidents and, when accidents occur, change into clean clothing independently. 

Accidents and Readiness 

Occasional accidents may occur; however, frequent accidents or an inability to manage toileting independently may indicate that a camper is not yet ready to fully participate in camp. Families are required to provide a complete change of clothing to be kept on campus. 

If concerns arise, parents/guardians will be consulted and may be asked to support additional toilet training at home before the camper returns to camp.  

Determination of Readiness 

Saint Mary’s Hall reserves the right to determine whether a student meets the toileting independence expectations necessary for enrollment and continued attendance. This determination is made in the best interest of the camper and the Summer at the Hall community. 

ALL CAMPERS

CLOTHING - Campers should wear closed-toe shoes and dress in cool, comfortable summer attire. Should your camper be required to wear something different or bring specific items, you will be notified via email.  

SUNSCREEN - Please apply sunscreen and insect repellent to your camper every day as even campers in indoor sessions will spend some time outdoors.  

WATER - Send a water bottle labeled with your camper’s name - there will be multiple opportunities for your camper to refill his/ her water bottle throughout the day.  

PERSONAL STUFF - We recommend that other personal belongings stay at home. Saint Mary’s Hall is not responsible for lost or broken personal items brought to camp. We also recommend that mobile devices remain at home. Should your camper need to bring a mobile device, staff, instructors, and counselors reserve the right to limit usage during camp time? Please don't forget to label all personal items.  

All camps meet rain or shine. In case of inclement weather, Summer at Saint Mary's Hall will email you with further details.

The Extended Care Program provides care for campers enrolled in Summer at Saint Mary's Hall before and after camp: 7 am-9 am and 4 pm-6 pm. The program includes relaxed recreational activities, including games and outdoor play.  

We encourage parents to sign up in advance for our Extended Care Program to help our administration better plan for staffing needs. Campers who are dropped off before 8:30 am or not picked up by 4:15 pm will automatically be enrolled into the Extended Care Program for the week, and the weekly rate will apply ($60). Daily drop-in Extended Care is no longer available. 

EXTENDED CARE AM: 7 AM – 9 AM  

June 1 – July 24: $60 per week  

EXTENDED CARE PM: 4 PM – 6 PM  

June 1 – July 24: $60 per week  

Late fees will be charged after 6 pm.  

EXTENDED CARE: AFTER 6 PM (LATE) 

June 1 – July 24: If Camper is not picked up by 6:00 p.m., a late fee of $50 will be charged for the first 15 minutes (through 6:15 p.m.) and $1 per minute thereafter until Camper is picked up.

Campers are escorted to the Dining Hall for lunch each day at noon and are fully supervised by staff and counselors. We offer a weekly meal plan, with a balanced meal provided by FLIK Dining Services®. The meal plan, which can be purchased through your camp account, is $50/week for students ages 6 and older.  

**Important Reminder: Lunch is provided only for campers enrolled in both morning and afternoon sessions.  If a camper is enrolled in a morning session, but not in the afternoon, lunch will not be provided. 

Students who require special meals must bring lunch from home.  

Sack Lunch 

• 3–5-year-olds MUST bring a sack lunch and will be charged a supervision fee of $25/week.  

• 6+ year old campers who bring a sack lunch will be charged a supervision fee of $25/week. 

SNACKS 

Snacks are provided daily for all campers at 10 am and 2 pm. Campers with special dietary needs should bring nut-free snacks in a labeled, sealed container from home. Campers are not allowed to share snacks. 

Waivers will be provided by email for any camps offering field trips prior to the start of camp. Waivers must be completed and submitted prior to the field trip.

In order to facilitate the healthiest learning environment, campers are expected to comply with the Saint Mary’s Hall guidelines regarding cellular and electronic devices.  

To the extent that a camper brings any electronic devices to summer camp (smart/cell phones, smart watches, iPads, etc.), the camper does so at his/her own risk. The school will not be responsible for the theft, damage, or loss of such devices.  

All electronic devices must be turned off and put away during the session unless the teacher has specifically authorized the use of the device during that particular camp for educational purposes. If the device is being used for educational purposes, campers must comply with the guidelines relating to such use.  Whenever such use is permitted, campers may not use electronic devices in any way that is inappropriate, harassing, or disruptive to the educational environment. The visible/audible content stored on an electronic device such as images, wallpapers, and ringtones are to be school-appropriate. Campers are not permitted to use electronic devices to make threats, use camera features to take inappropriate pictures or videos, videotape, or record classes, send text messages to other campers in class, or in ways that would otherwise disrupt the learning environment.  No camper is to photograph or record anyone on campus without their knowledge and expressed permission.  This is a violation of privacy and compromises a sense of safety on campus.  No camper is to post images or recordings of Saint Mary’s Hall community members on any social media platform without their knowledge or expressed permission. 

Saint Mary’s Hall is an educational community committed to the ethical, intellectual, and physical growth of it’s students/campers, both as individuals and as members of a community. 

All Summer at the Hall campers are expected to uphold standards of conduct that promote safety, wellness, respect and a strong sense of belonging for themselves and others. The use of ethnic slurs, name calling, and profanity are not permitted. The Platinum Rule (Treat others as they want to be treated) will be the foundation of camper behavior. Summer faculty are responsible for managing daily camp activities and responding thoughtfully and promptly to camper needs. Should behavior concern require further support or redirection, Summer at the Hall leadership will intervene and determine in their discretion what discipline is warranted.
