Over the Moon for Star Party

Over the Moon for Star Party

Our Saint Mary's Hall community came together last week for a delightful Star Party. Everyone gathered at Lewis Field to see Jupiter and its moon, Callisto; Saturn with its rings and several of its moons, including Titan; and even our own moon as it rose over the trees.

Participants enjoyed an evening observing the stars, listening to live music from our SMH students, learning from our Robotics and Science students, and playing space trivia with our faculty. Students in our Astronomy Group assisted with the many telescopes, including the star of the show, a 22-inch reflector, that was generously provided by SMH parent, Tony Chbeir. Parents' Circle members worked the grill and cooked up delicious hotdogs and provided beverages for everyone to enjoy.

We are full of gratitude for the stellar faculty members who created this delightful annual experience, our superstar parents, and our out-of-this world students.
