Happy Grand Day at Saint Mary’s Hall!

Happy Grand Day at Saint Mary’s Hall!

Today we hosted our first ever Virtual Grand Day at Saint Mary’s Hall. While we missed seeing our grandparents in person this year at one of our most time-honored traditions, we were excited to celebrate with our grandparents with a fun and creative virtual experience.

In late March, SMH grandparents received a special invitation (and surprise) in the mail to participate in this special virtual experience by having a cup of tea.  We also enclosed a Proud Baron Grandparent window decal to display.

In addition to all of the fun videos of our students dancing and recording personalized messages for their grandparents, Head of School Len Miller videoed a special grandparents’ message.  In it he shared, “We want to reassure you that your grandchildren are known, loved, and cared for, whether they are on campus or virtual learners.  My deep thanks go out to our faculty and staff who continue to make the education of our students possible.  I am inspired daily by their creativity, flexibility, and expertise as they engage and inspire our students.”  View this heartwarming message plus our students’ musings here.
