Fiesta 2022!

Fiesta 2022!

Last Friday, hundreds of students, faculty, staff, parents, grandparents, and friends enjoyed one of our School’s most beloved traditions, Fiesta! The Upper School circle was transformed into a lively atmosphere and everyone found a way to take in the fun. Students excitedly cracked cascarones, ducked and dodged the rotating arm in the Meltdown Action game, competed for exciting prizes, tried wild face paint and hairspray styles, and dunked their favorite school administration and faculty. Parents, faculty, and grandparents shopped at El Mercado, visited with friends under the oaks, and volunteered at game booths.

The day was an enormous success due in large part to all the parent, faculty, and student volunteer support. The entire effort was led by SMH Parents’ Circle leaders Nancy Bean, Lindsey Beck, and Mireille Hercule, and utilized more than 250 volunteers. We are thankful to all who donated their time to Fiesta, with special thanks to our Maintenance and Facilities team as well as our Middle School and Upper School councils.

Fiesta once again created memories and friendships that will be remembered for decades and deepened our bond as a school community. Next up, together with the SMH Science department, the Parents’ Circle is proud to present The Star Party on Thursday, November 10!
