A Night of Halloween Fun, Fine Arts, and Football

A Night of Halloween Fun, Fine Arts, and Football

Friday night lights at Saint Mary’s Hall (SMH) held a creative twist on October 15! As part of the Barons’ game versus New Braunfels Christian, the night included Halloween fun as well as Fine Arts activities and performances.

Not only were the Barons victorious with a final score of 78-46, the evening was also a success for SMH Fine Arts, celebrating the many talents of student and faculty artists. The festive event featured a “Spirit of San Antonio” Chalk-It Up activity, a Fine Arts Fun Table, performances from the Upper School Pep Band during the game, a Middle School Chorus Club performance of the National Anthem, and a special Halftime Show featuring SMH Dancers, among other highlights. One of the exciting moments of the evening was an energetic performance by the SMH cheerleaders, led by Hip-Hop Instructor AJ Abrams. Adding to the festivities, the SMH community dressed in fun, creative costumes and participated in a Halloween costume contest, where the top three winners received special prizes.

It was a thrill to showcase Dance during Fine Arts Night at the football game. The air was alive with the pep band's music, Lower School Art's handmade noisemakers, and cheers from our community. Where else can you celebrate athletic and artistic achievements all in one place? As a Baron, I have never felt so much school spirit.
