Program Updates

We are actively working to develop programming to foster a culture of belonging where all members of our community can be seen, known, and valued.

Below are some programs we are implementing in an effort to provide this critical support for students.

It is imperative to continue civil discussions about race beyond Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, because the symbolism behind it shows the ongoing fight for racial equality is far from over. Unfortunately, the events of 2020 proved that many aspects of our country are deeply rooted in racism. Asking for equal representation, opportunity, and fair treatment shouldn't be questioned, as justice is a right to all residing in this country. Our diverse backgrounds and beliefs are what makes America a great nation. And our children need to know that their drive for the pursuance of a better life, not their race, will determine their attainment of the American dream.
