Bethany Bohall
Wanda Wiley Atkinson Director of Fine Arts/Upper School Theater Teacher and Director
Bethany has been at Saint Mary’s Hall since 2008 and is the recipient of the Saint Mary’s Hall 2016 Jaime Armstrong Bennett Award. Her previous experience includes working at Davidson College directing the Royal Shakespeare Company Residency, the City of San Antonio managing the city's cultural plan, and at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts in California. Bethany taught acting at Miami’s New World School of the Arts, at Orange County School of the Arts (CA), and was an Equity actress, receiving the Best Actress Carbonell Award in 2000. Bethany holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drama from the University of Miami and a Master of Arts in Arts Leadership from Colorado State University.
Patrick Cunningham
Theater Manager, Scenic Designer, and Upper School Technical Theater Teacher
Patrick Cunningham has been the Theater Manager, Scenic Designer and Technical Theater Director at Saint Mary’s Hall since 1995. Mr. Cunningham graduated from Our Lady of the Lake University in 1985. After graduation, he was hired by the university to be the Technical Director and Scenic Designer for the school’s resident theater company. There he was awarded an artist-in-residence grant by the Texas Commission of the Arts. Mr. Cunningham began his career as an artist and printmaker, and is the recipient of Saint Mary’s Hall’s 2002 Jamie Armstrong Bennett Award.
Amanda White
Assistant Director of Fine Arts and Upper School Yearbook Teacher
Amanda White is a fine arts educator with over 18 years of experience in teaching within fine arts programs including Yearbook, Journalism, Visual Arts, Debate, Speech, and Theater Arts in both high school and middle school settings, and over 5 years of experience in Fine Arts Administration. Amanda is currently the Assistant Director of Fine Arts and the Yearbook Advisor, as well as an Honor Council sponsor and a freshman class advisor. Amanda earned a Masters in Education from Lamar University and a Bachelor’s degree from Trinity University. She enjoys photography, reading, and hiking with her family.
