SMH Dance Program
Dancers learn from a faculty of seven exceptionally-trained dance educators in the finest dance facility in San Antonio.
he Dance Program, under the direction of Head of Dance Yosvani Cortellan, offers a wide range of dance for boys and girls from ages 4 and up. Lower, Middle, and Upper School students have the option to study in-school dance for class credit, as well as after-school options through the Dance Academy.
The program presents four major productions annually, as well as in-school Assembly performances, giving students the opportunity to regularly showcase their dance talents at their home school to their family, friends, teachers, and community.
By incorporating thought-provoking field trips and inviting impressive guest artists to campus, students learn how being an artist can transcend their lives as students beyond SMH.
