SMH Dance Program

Dancers learn from a faculty of seven exceptionally-trained dance educators in the finest dance facility in San Antonio.

he Dance Program offers a wide range of dance for students ages 4 and up. Students have the option to study dance for credit, as well as after-school options through the Saint Mary's Hall Dance Academy.
The program presents four major productions annually, as well as additional opportunities such as school assemblies and the fall musical, giving students the opportunity to regularly showcase their dance talents at their home school to their family, friends, teachers, and community.

Dance academy

The Saint Mary's Hall Dance Academy has an outstanding reputation in the dance arts, due to their expert faculty, outstanding facilities, and wide-range of course offering.

he Dance Academy offers more than 50 unique classes in the afternoon and on Saturdays for Saint Mary's Hall students ages 4 to 18.

Intensive Ballet

The SMH Intensive Ballet Program, a rigorous study of ballet for serious ballet students, is offered beginning in Form 1 and continues through the Professional Ballet level in Upper School.

Hip-Hop

Hip-Hop is a contemporary form of street dance influenced by jazz, ballet, and tap dance idioms, as well as by hip-hop, funk, and pop music.
