Men's Soccer Program Overview
The Saint Mary’s Hall men’s soccer program provides the opportunity for student-athletes to become a part of a community with a distinguished history of representing our school. SMH fields both a highly competitive men’s varsity team and is a member of the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools (TAPPS) and compete within the Division II (5A), District 3 classification. In addition, SMH offers an all-boys Middle School soccer team that competes within the highly competitive Independent Schools Athletic League (ISAL) of San Antonio as well as a co-ed Lower School soccer program that competes as a member of the San Antonio Christian Athletic League (SACAL).
Our Mission: “Create a culture of Building Champions on and off the field, by fostering an environment that embraces the standards of excellence and teamwork in everything we do, every day.”
Our Vision: To leave an enduring legacy of honor, servant leadership, and success by building the SMH Soccer Brand and making soccer the premier private school program in the region and among the most respected, in the state of Texas.
SMH men’s soccer seeks to sustain an environment blessed with first-class facilities, steeped in rich traditions, and that cultivates fiercely loyal supporters. We seek to establish a cohort of highly motivated and mission driven student-athletes and equally dedicated coaches. We wish to forge a robust presence of the SMH men’s soccer program and craft a timeline of team and individual accomplishments. The focus at all levels is to improve the entire student-athlete and the experiences through a holistic and value-centric focus. Our roadmap is an adherence to the principles of; Accountability, Affirmation, Integrity, Persistence, Respect for others and self, and Teamwork – and the daily implementation of these.
