Saint Mary’s Hall truly has been my home, and I cannot imagine my school experience anywhere else. I enjoyed being at school because it allowed me to have real life discussions with teachers who respect the students and create an environment that mimics college life. For me, it was not just the lush campus or collaborative study spaces, but the people who made my time so special.   New students will find their place at Saint Mary’s Hall and I encourage them to visit so they can experience what it is like to ‘Know and Be Known.’

During my time as a Saint Mary’s Hall Baron, I was fortunate to enjoy not only exceptional academic opportunities but also a diverse community of respect and acceptance that allowed me to discover my passions and talents. While the innovative academia of the school did play a significant role during my time as a student, what made SMH special were the teachers and the limitless possibilities to discover oneself to the fullest.  From the many athletic teams to the countless student-led clubs, SMH offers every means for students to be successful and fulfilled.

Our daughter enjoyed her freshman year a lot. The school community at SMH is so welcoming and kind—we feel fortunate to have our son attending next year as well. And we greatly appreciated the distance learning in these last few weeks. Our daughter was able to pick right up and didn’t seem to miss a beat. What a credit to the SMH teachers and administrators!

As the parents of both a Saint Mary’s Hall alumnus, and a current sophomore, my wife and I have seen, firsthand, the innumerable benefits of an SMH education.  But, Saint Mary’s Hall has provided our children with much more than a first-rate academic experience.  Saint Mary’s Hall faculty and staff have nurtured our children in a warm, inclusive environment that emphasizes kindness, personal responsibility, and a strong work ethic.  To this day, our son’s best friends are his Saint Mary’s Hall classmates and his most impactful mentors, his Saint Mary’s Hall teachers.  Our daughter, who came to SMH as a Montessori student, looks forward to interacting with her classmates and teachers each day.  We cannot imagine our lives without the Saint Mary’s Hall community!

Saint Mary's Hall changed my life and my only regret was that I did not start from Montessori.  My wife and I are grateful that we will be able to watch our son start his journey in the fall to grow into a man and a leader over the next 15 years.  We know he is in the right hands as a member of this prestigious community to mold his future with this opportunity.

Teaching at Saint Mary’s Hall is great because I get the chance to work with motivated students everyday, not only in the classroom but in an advisory role, as a coach, and as a sponsor of a student run organization. Because all levels share a beautiful campus I get the opportunity to get to know my future students and can continue to watch my former students grow as students, athletes, artists, and most importantly as people.
