Meet the Head of School
Jonathan Eades was appointed Saint Mary’s Hall head of school in 2011, after serving as assistant head of school/head of Upper School. Since joining SMH in 2007, Jonathan has provided hands-on leadership in the classroom by co-teaching an Upper School class (Film as Literature: Vietnam), and serving as a student advisor.
Jonathan began his education at Ft. Worth Country Day where he earned his high school diploma. Jonathan went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts in History with honors from Williams College in Massachusetts, and a Master of Arts in Education from Columbia University.
Prior to joining Saint Mary's Hall, Jonathan was head of Upper School at Wichita Collegiate School in Kansas, as well as history teacher and coach at The Harley School in Rochester, New York, and at Episcopal High School in Houston, where he also served as dean of students.
