SMH Senior Boarders Explore the New Starcrest Campus

SMH Senior Boarders Explore the New Starcrest Campus, (ca 1968)

The Shield, Fall 2014

In November of 1968, Saint Mary’s Hall moved to a new campus on Starcrest Drive with more than 300 students (including 119 boarders) and faculty.

There was still a lot of construction on campus and students had fun exploring the campus. In this picture, senior boarders from the Class of 1969 posed near the senior dorms.

This picture, “The Boarding Department … Seniors,” was published in the 1969 issue of La Reata, the school yearbook.
