Scholarships & Tuition Assistance

Financial Aid Recipients at Saint Mary's Hall

Saint Mary’s Hall offers robust scholarship programs and tuition assistance, which allow us to make our excellent education available to students of all socioeconomic backgrounds.

Each year, we award more than $2 million in need-based aid and scholarships to roughly 13% of our student body.

Academic Scholarships

Academic scholarships are available to new and currently enrolled students entering Forms 9 - 12. All scholarships are awarded after the current recipient graduates, with the exception of the Major General Daniel S. and Mrs. Ruth Taylor Campbell Scholarship and the Susan Gresham Davidge Scholarship.

Tuition Assistance Consideration

Tuition assistance is made possible through the Saint Mary's Hall endowment and through the generous support of our alumni, parents, grandparents, faculty, staff, foundations, and other friends.

If you are interested in applying for tuition assistance, we have a helpful step-by-step-guide. To be considered for a grant, a student must be in at least Forms 1 - 12 and have been accepted to or currently attending Saint Mary's Hall.
Tution assistance is determined through careful review using  FAST (Financial Aid for School Tuition) by Independent School Management, a national organization that performs initial aid analysis for many of the nation's top independent schools. At Saint Mary's Hall, we review the FAST analysis, along with tax records, and other information provided by the family, to determine estimated assistance.

The deadline for submitting your application and tax documents to FAST is February 7, 2020.
