Alumni

The mission of the Saint Mary's Hall Alumni Association is to foster beneficial connections among alumni, students, faculty, and staff. To implement this mission, the Association works with the Director of Alumni and other staff to:

  • Foster alumni pride and enhance the reputation of Saint Mary's Hall
  • Provide opportunities for alumni to volunteer their time and talents on behalf of Saint Mary's Hall and its students
  • Provide alumni with the means to connect with other alumni for the exchange of information and ideas and to communicate their accomplishments, interests, and concerns
  • Support the fundraising activities and priorities of the school
  • Encourage individual alumni to provide financial support to Saint Mary's Hall
  • Support the school’s admission and diversity efforts
  • Additionally, the Alumni Association now seeks nominations for the next Distinguished Alumni Award and the Momentum Award

Read Bio

Mark Remington began teaching 13 years ago in the kindergarten classroom. In 2007, he joined Saint Mary’s Hall after having taught Advanced Placement, honors, ESL and regular classes at both public and independent schools in Texas . Mark is on the adjunct faculty of two community colleges, teaching classes in United States and Western European History. At Saint Mary’s Hall Mark is responsible for the annual giving and alumni relations programs, and he teaches AP Macroeconomics. His academic interests are finance, the American political system, and Civil War history. Mark is a member of Phi Alpha Theta (history honor society). In his spare time, he enjoys playing tennis, sailing and judging retriever performance events for the American Kennel Club.
